being laid-back in Kunming

People in my district are just the definition of being laid-back. Walking around in pyjamas all day, parking their cars wherever they want to, dancing to loud music in the evenings. But that thing I spotted today just by the main alley was just realness.


On the other hand, excessive laidbackness can get you into trouble even in Kunming. Today my teacher told me, that her neighbours lost their 2 yo kid while just playing in the district. It's been 5 days and the kid is still missing. Really sad and disturbing. Couple of months ago I saw a kid walking around alone on the big intersection... Westerners sometimes are too strict when it comes to taking care of their children, but the Chinese sometimes are doing it wrong too...
